Back Buildings on Scottish Islands
Many Scottish islands only have a few buildings on them for the locals to use, such as: a garage, a pub, a church and a small school. Most places have a village hall where people go for: dances, concerts, discos and to meet each other.

The post office might also sell essential items like: washing powder, tinned food and drinks, with fresh bread and milk only being delivered twice a week. Some post offices are even in people's homes.
