Field and Pond Habitats
Have a look at the plants you can see in these two habitats:
School Field
Pond
Trees
are tall plants which have a big trunk with lots of branches and leaves growing from it.
Water lilies
have very big, white flowers. They have big leaves shaped like circles to help them float on the water.
Daisies
are pretty, little flowers that open when the sun comes out in the morning and close when the sun goes down at night.
Duckweeds
have no stem or leaves. They grow very quickly and cover the surface of ponds like a green, floating mat.
