The Spread of the Fire
	A strong wind blew the flames quickly across the city and the sky had a yellow glow. It burned down many of the wooden houses easily as it spread down the narrow alleys. The streets were filled with people running to escape the fire. Some even used boats on the River Thames to flee. Many could only save things that they could carry.
